UNIT 3 GRAMMAR: LIKE+ING



GRAMMAR RULE

EXAMPLE

I like going to the park
I love playing games
I don't mind doing homework

REMEMBER!

We can use "like", "love", "hate" and "don't mind" to say how we feel about an activity.


She loves watching TV

He hates tidying his room.
They don't like going to the dentist.

BE CAREFUL!

After 'like, 'love','hate, and .don't mind. we usually use the verb with "ing"

I love using the computer
He doesn't like shopping
She doesn't mind reading

WE SAY... WE DON'T SAY...

I like cooking (NOT I like cooking)
She doesn't like studying. (NOT She doesn't like for studying)
